Lives in the notch
Hover over the notch or press Command-Shift-Space. Search text, source apps and text inside images.
Snipmori is a native Mac app to capture, mark up and reuse what is on your screen. Your history stays on your Mac. Nothing leaves it unless you ask.

Beta builds are not notarized yet. How to open it the first time
Tour
Four places where Snipmori saves you a few seconds, many times a day.
Press Command-Shift-Space. Search, filter by text or images, and pin what you want to keep. Each card shows as many actions as fit its width.
Grab a region, a window or the whole screen. A compact preview appears next to your cursor with edit, copy, save, OCR, pin and upload.
The editor opens right inside the notch. Arrows, text, shapes, blur, counters and highlights share one toolbar with backdrop, undo and export.
Press OCR on an image card. The notch shows the recognized text under your history. Press Translate to see the result in the next column.
Features
Every text and image you copy, one hover away.
Hover over the notch or press Command-Shift-Space. Search text, source apps and text inside images.
Copy, or paste straight into the app you came from. Drag text or up to 32 images into any app.
Likely keys, tokens and emails are masked on screen and in text sent to AI. Copy and paste still use the original.
Delete unpinned items after 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days or 30 days. Pinned items stay.
Capture, mark up and share without leaving the notch.
Freeze the screen and drag a region. Press Space to pick a window. Arrow keys move one pixel.
Capture long pages and chats in one window, manually or with auto-scroll.
Arrows, text, shapes, counters, highlights, spotlight and a magnifier.
On-device OCR flags likely secrets. Cover them with opaque masks in one click.
Gradient backdrops with shadows that never clip. Put several captures on one canvas.
Recognize text and QR codes on your Mac. QR links never open by themselves.
Claude, only when you ask. Likely secrets are masked before text leaves your Mac.
Translate copied text between your two languages. Language detection runs on your Mac.
Translate each text region of a screenshot and preview it before you save. The original stays.
Let Claude compose an Image Playground prompt from an image, on supported Macs.
An Anthropic API key, Cloudflare AI Gateway or your Claude Code login (claude -p). Pick the Claude model.
Sign in to Cloudflare once in your browser. That one OAuth connection gives Snipmori R2 uploads and AI Gateway. Tokens stay in Keychain.
One click uploads a flattened PNG to your bucket and copies the link.
A bucket lifecycle rule deletes uploads after 1, 7 or 30 days, even when your Mac is off.
AI Gateway holds your Anthropic key. Snipmori sends requests with the Cloudflare sign-in.
Use any S3-compatible bucket with access keys instead. Keys stay in Keychain.
Privacy
Snipmori is a local app first. Network access happens only for features you start.
Stored in Application Support with owner-only file permissions.
No sign-up for Snipmori itself. Snipmori does not collect usage data.
Nothing uploads automatically. Files go to your bucket, not ours.
Claude gets only the text you send, with likely secrets masked. Keys stay in Keychain.
Automation
Start captures from Raycast, Alfred or Terminal with the snipmori:// URL scheme. Actions that bring in outside data ask before they run.
# Region capture, then open the editor
open 'snipmori://capture?mode=region&after=edit'
# Capture after 3 seconds
open 'snipmori://capture?mode=delay&delay=3'
# Read text from a region
open 'snipmori://ocr'
# Open clipboard history
